Welcome to the Cneasú Community WhatsApp Support Group, a safe and supportive space created for women living with or awaiting diagnosis of chronic illness.

This group exists to offer peer-to-peer support, connection, and understanding — a place to share lived experiences in a kind and respectful environment.

Please read our community guidelines below before requesting to join.

All information shared within our WhatsApp Group or online platforms is based on lived experience and trusted public resources such as official Health Organisations and Departments of Health.

We do not make medical claims or provide medical advice.

For any health-related questions, symptoms, or treatment options, please consult a:

• Registered General Practitioner (GP)

• Medical Specialist or Healthcare Provider, or

• Relevant Health Authority

Always seek professional medical guidance when needed.

Our mission is to foster an environment built on respect, empathy, inclusion, and understanding.

We ask all members to:

• Be kind, respectful, and supportive at all times.

• Avoid judgment, discrimination, harassment, or bullying.

• Respect all lived experiences, opinions, and beliefs — even when they differ from your own.

• Engage in conversations mindfully; healthy discussion is welcome, but hostility is not.

• Alert an admin privately through official channels not personal contact details, if you notice misinformation or inappropriate behaviour.

🚫 Self-Promotion, Links & Social Media Etiquette

To maintain the integrity and safety of our community:

• No self-promotion or advertising of personal businesses, pages, or services is permitted.

• All links, resources, and posts must be pre-approved by an admin before sharing in group chats or comment threads on social media.

• Unapproved promotional posts, fundraising links, or external invitations may be removed without notice.

• Group Admins reserve the right to remove posts or comments that do not align with our guidelines.

• If you are part of other Whatsapp Groups/ Organisations please refrain from sharing information to and from groups!

🔒 Privacy, Consent & GDPR

We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of every community member. All data is protected under GDPR and will never be shared with third parties.

Please respect confidentiality:

• Screenshots, recordings, and message forwarding are strictly prohibited.

• Do not share or repost group messages, photos, or voice notes without explicit consent.

• Conversations held in private or within group chats must not be discussed externally.

From February 2025, all members will be required to complete a Consent & Guidelines Agreement and provide photo ID verification to remain in the WhatsApp Group.

⚖️ Online Conduct & Legal Compliance

The Online Safety and Media Regulation Act 2022 (Coco’s Law) applies to all online and offline communication associated with our community.

We have zero tolerance for:

• Online trolling, bullying, or abuse

• Strictly Over 18

• Defamatory comments or slander towards any individual, business, medic, or organisation

• Sharing of private or misleading content without consent

Any such behaviour will be reported, removed, and referred to our legal advisors if necessary.

Please refrain from privately contacting other members without prior consent via the group.

🎥 Events & Community Engagement

• Photography, video, or audio recording at events is not permitted without explicit permission.

• Some events may not be suitable for minors. Members aged 16–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

• If you ever feel unsafe, please contact an admin or event facilitator immediately.
